Kensington uggs, do they stretch? They are very hard to get on....

I really want Kensington uggs as I think I would like some that are harder wearing. But I tried some on and they are difficult to get on and feel very tight when on. The man in the shop said they will defiantly stretch and they have double the amount of fur as classic and bailey button uggs. But I just want to make sure they are still comfortable.

Also I was wondering if anyone has bought them in children's size for an adult? Because they are much cheaper and go upto a size 5!

I don't think they stretch so much as 'bed down' really. I have had mine for about 6-7 weeks and they are def easier to get on now. I didn't find them that difficult to put on in first place though contrary to some reports as I buy a 6 and am prob more likely a 5.5
They are without doubt the warmest boots I have ever put on my feet and have spent the day outside in very cold weather and been completely toasty. Obviously more practical than normal Uggs but the leather is quite soft so needs to be looked after. I love mine Smile

Its good to know they are now easier to get on. I found them quite tight and still felt tight when they were on.

Where did you buy yours?

I bought them on US website Zappos and had them sent over by DH's friend. If they are very tight why not size up and wear thick socks or get sheepskin insoles perhaps?

I saw that website, but i couldn't find them as a registered retailer on the ugg website. did you check if they are registered?

dont they ship to UK? as i cant find any info the website about uk postage, but i'm still looking Smile

I got mine through Amazon and needed to size up. I had bought a 5 and had to return them as I couldn't get my feet either in or out of them... Definitely glad I went ahead with larger size as they may not be beautiful but hell are they warm!

Lift - how much were they from amazon? I am trying to find them as cheap as possible! Wink

Zappos totally legit but don't ship to UK I'm afraid

movingonwardsorsidewards · 12/02/2012 19:56

Cherry, I had since worked out that they are legit and gutted that they will not post to uk as it would be much cheaper Sad I really want these boots now but I don't want to pay full price Sad

I've had mine for over a year. They do ease up but don't become loose. Size was true to size. Best advice I dan give is to stick a pair of charcoal insoles in them every night as they are very snug and the insoles help them to dry out a bit after wearing,

I got mine at the end of last summer for £150- didn't dare believe it til they arrived and I'd checked my bank statement... Lucky timingSmile

Wow I'm so Envy lucky you. I have found some that are lavender in colour Hmm strange colour but very cheap and I am thinking of getting them.

I've worn mine almost daily since I got them in November and they're a perfect fit now. I wouldn't say they've stretched though, more like moulded to the shape of my feet?

I always said I'd never get Uggs as I've seen too many people in the cheap ones, walking on the inside of their feet. I love these though, they're really supportive :)
