Shellac nails - comments?

I'm going away for a week with work and will be super-busy, I really like the idea of getting a colour put on my nails that will just STAY THERE no matter what I do so that I don't have to think about it?

I don't want fake nails glued on and I don't want any fancy patterns, I just want to pick a colour and have it stay.

Anyone with any experience of the shellac thing?

ive just had shellac done yesterday - i love the fact that it looks great and no drying time at all.

i was intending on going in about 3 weeks to have it done again. my nails are great, and i hate the feel of false nails and the damage it does.

thought shellac would be a better option? love the colour options. it cost me £16 to have it done including all the cuticle work. i was fully intending to have it done again, which i assume would be the same price to remove and redo.

Vicar what colour did you have? I have the grey on at the moment and it's so shiny !
