I do love their wording .... Dramatically different and moisture surge extended thirst relief!

ameliagrey · 08/02/2012 18:36

Oh dear- it's always the same stuff. I don't use any of that except the eye cream ( only free samples) and maybe the lippie.

J Lewis has a promotion in about 2 weeks- maybe they will have a better selection.

yellowraincoat · 08/02/2012 18:38

I like the moisture surge stuff and the mascara.

warmandwooly · 08/02/2012 20:31

I would quite like a chubby stick. There's another bonus time going on near me where they have more makeup stuff. I wish they would give you the choice of what you wanted.

what's the black honey lipstick like?

Housewife2010 · 08/02/2012 21:01

The black honey lipstick is gorgeous. It's been my favourite lipstick for 20 years now! Sheer, comfortable & very wearable. I can wear it with full make up or a bare face & it still works. I've got the duo too, & the black honey superbalm (unfortunately limited edition), blushing gel & eyeliner. - Obsessed.
Re the chubbysticks. I got the set of 4 small ones before Xmas & they are nice, but I was very disappointed by how little product each one held.

southeastastra · 08/02/2012 21:03

i will have to buy it now! i remember reading about it a couple of years ago then forgot about it

warmandwooly · 08/02/2012 21:17

I wanted the Black Honey superbalm but itKs not available individually although my local Debenhams have some of the sets still. I got lucky a few years ago and got a good deal on Black honey lippy, blusher and mini mascara. Looking forward to wearing the black honey lip gloss

would black honey suit pale skins without being gothy?

Housewife2010 · 08/02/2012 21:38

definitely. It just deepens your liptone a bit - it's not as dark as it sounds.

JoantheFennel · 08/02/2012 21:54

I am very pale and suit black honey.

EllenParsons · 09/02/2012 03:52

I agree, I wish you could swap out some of the Bonus Time stuff and change it for something you want. I'd prefer High Lengths mascara over the High Impact. I use the dramatically different moisturising gel but the lotion is useless to me. Also they always give out the mild facial soap instead of the oily skin formula, so at least that isn't in there this time! Not sure I have ever tried the cleanser that's in this gift but hopefully it is okay for oilier sorts like myself.

Anyway I will still definitely go and get it as I can't turn down a freebie ;) I love the Moisture Surge and the eye cream. Is it a full size 15 ml pot of eye cream?! If so, worth it for that alone! Anyone know how big the moisture surge is? I had moisture surge in a previous bonus time (came in a 30ml tube instead of a pot) and I just bought a big one to replace it, so would love to have a more portable version of it again.

I want to buy the quickliner intense. Not sure which skincare product I will go for, maybe exfoliating scrub.

As for chubby sticks, I have the super strawberry and I really like it. Lovely sheer colour, doesn't immediately wear off as I thought it might and feels very moisturising. I would recommend them.

warmandwooly · 09/02/2012 19:52

Moisture surge is 15ml pot and All about eyes is 7ml.
Does anyone know if Glamour magazine will be giving away any Clinique freebies with their birthday issue like last year as I got a nice sized
Tube of moisture surge or other beauty freebie?

Hm, 15ml moisture surge is a bit tight! Thanks for the info though warmandwooly.

Wonder if the John Lewis gift will be better...

QueenKong · 10/02/2012 09:33

What's the deal with this? Can I buy any 2 items or is it from a select few? I fancy a black liquid eyeliner and a chubby stick (will check out the black honey now though).
