I'm a size 14 with DD boobs that sometimes don't fit in a size 14 dress Confused I have postpregnancy weight and am not very proud of my legs... Please help!

What is your budget? I like Coast for evening wear, in fact I bought my wedding dress there!

Francagoestohollywood · 08/02/2012 17:06

Budget?

AmberNectarine · 08/02/2012 17:07

They have v nice maxis here if you want to hide your legs [empathy]

I wore the Allure maxi on my wedding day and loved it!

FauxFox · 08/02/2012 17:16

biba
black embellished halter maxi
purple embellished maxi
or if you are going designer vivienne is a good choice for curvy figures

ChocFudgeCake · 08/02/2012 19:44

Ok budget... mmm As cheap as possible? Blush I was hoping to shed some pounds eventually, so this dress might not fit in a few months (years??!!) time.

Now I'm sallivating over the Coast dresses! They are truly gorgeous.
I was thinking a maximum of £60 or really stretching it £70 Preferably way less.
Am I deluded and won't find anything nice under that?

Thanks a lot for looking :)

Which of the links or Coast dresses do you like/not like? Is strapless OK? If you can indicate what sort of thing you're after i'll have another look for some suggestions that match your budget Smile

ChocFudgeCake · 09/02/2012 17:10

ahh you are great, Fauxfox! Let me look again

I would not normally go for strapless but the Allure one from Coast is fabulous.
I don't like diamant'e or sexy.

this I like they don't have it in my size
this is nice too but not sure about the print

Yes yes! :) My favourite is that last one. I'll try to go to M&S today to try it on.
I saw this also. Love this style, have you seen a cheaper version of this?? If I have not taken too much of your time! [Thanks]

Grin I think I like the red best...

ChocFudgeCake · 14/02/2012 17:53

It arrived! I just tried on and it is beautiful. It's the red one. I cannot believe it actually suits/fits me I did order a size 16 Thanks a lot!! :)
If you are still around, should I wear it with a shoul or something??

OP posts:
FauxFox · 14/02/2012 19:56

If you will only be 'seen' inside I'd wear as it is (smart coat for journey and coat check it), if you have to be outside with the people a big black pashmina or something faux fur would be elegant.

So glad you like it Grin
