Which brand of jeans for a flat bum?

purplewednesday · 07/02/2012 21:35

Whenever I buy a pair of jeans, DH tells me I have a saggy bum in them :(

I am a size 12 but have a fairly flat bum, hence the sagging material.

Anyone got any ideas about jeans that may be a good fit?

Thanks!

Asda great bum jeans are feted on here and pretty popular round my behind too.

ouryve · 07/02/2012 22:51

If you don't ming the low waist and aren't prone to muffin top from it, Gap Long and lean work (just to add, also if you're not too much of a shortarse!)

AuntingCarse · 07/02/2012 22:55

Same problem here, and I have found that J Brand solve it. They are not cheap, but last and last and last, and NEVER sag. I love them.

Mumleigh · 07/02/2012 22:57

Most of mine are gap long and lean - still go baggy on the bum but are better than most other brands.

Mumleigh · 07/02/2012 22:59

Which stores stock J Brand? I'm off to London next week for a bit of a shop so will seek them out!

AuntingCarse · 07/02/2012 23:13

Selfridges is where I get mine - they have an enormous selection and the staff in there are really excellent. I have 3 pairs, all over two years old and they're as good as new.

Mumleigh · 08/02/2012 17:46

Well I'll be hitting Oxford St next week - thanks for the tip!

purplewednesday · 08/02/2012 21:29

Thank you all for your replies Grin

Going to London on Monday so if the DCs are being open to bribery I will drag them round selfridges!

Purple there's Hamley's down the road and the Disney Store across the road from Selfridges..... That's bribery sorted WinkGrin

monkeysmama · 08/02/2012 22:32

I really like J Brands too & Nudies which are a bit cheaper & thicker denim. You need to try every pair of J Brands ime as different styles fit very differently (I'm a 28 in some and 30 in others)

purplewednesday · 10/02/2012 20:22

If I take them into Hamley's I'll never get out...!

Never heard of Nudies so off to google Grin

Thanks All!

That's the idea purple you can escape, safe in the knowledge that they will still be there 19 days later Grin

I am now the proud owner of a pair of Gap Long and Lean jeans that fit like a dream Grin

First time in years that DH hasn't come out with the saggy arse comment - whooho!
Thanks Guys!!

Even better, when I went to Gap yesterday they were offering a 30% discount if you give them your email address so they can bombard you with junk emails (they had no idea that I accidently spelt my email address incorrectly Grin

Next do a range of bum lifting jeans , around £40. I think you will need to order them although I have seen them in big stores .

Sorry to say that the cutted up pear thread wasn't mine, merely the inspiration for my nickname!
But since it had me in pain from laughter I thought it would be a cheerful name to have. Unfortunately I think some people just see the 'cutted' part and assume I'm some sort of self-harmer Sad
