What shoes do you wear with dresses?

I only ever wear boots, but I think I would like some shoes. Or possibly ankle boots, but quite formal

I have Toast Calvary boots which are very flat and they are just too casual to work with everything.

I am quite casual normally but trying to up my game at work

I wore them all over christmas, and i too am normally a boot girl. I am hunting ebay for a 2nd pair as I bought them from an outlet last year.

I wear these a lot with dresses and opaque tights. They look fab, aren't too high and are remarkably comfortable!
