i used to never go into gap as they were too frumpy and the clothes always too big for me.

now i am too frumpy and the clothes are too small

have losts half a stone in the last two weeks though...only 2 stone to go!!!

tiredemma · 23/01/2006 14:59

i will cod, i walk past it every day on my way to work.

for you i will keep my beady eyes open.

i fall into the "city type" catagory i think.

Sadly I don't get to go into Gap regularly on account of it being a 40 minute train/tube ride away. If I do find myself in one, I'll check for you though

my experience shows that they work on a ten week rotation, every ten weeks stuff gets reduced. howeve this may only apply to babygap as don't buy stuff for myself in there, and of course they may not have any left.

if it goes reduced to an ridiculous amount i will inform you pronto.- do you want me to get it and forward it if that is the case?

sansouci · 28/01/2006 14:09

If you buy it full-price and it subsequently gets reduced, if you take the receipt back to Gap they will refund the price difference. Used to anyway, haven't tried it for a few years.

oliveoil · 31/01/2006 13:37

I am always in Gap

Will peruse for thee

Is it big or small?

Sherbert37 · 31/01/2006 13:45

Often in Gap for the sale rail jeans for my DD - she would be naked if not for their elastic waists (just 11, today in fact, in age 13 - 14 clothes but 22" waist - those were the days). Will look out for the bag - it sounds lovely.
We should start a Mumsnet sale rail watch thread.
