Stylish and lovely ipad2 covers - where are they hiding?

I posted a similar thread over on the geeks board but no takers so thought I'd try over here with you stylish ladies!

I have a lovely new iPad but it needs a lovely new case. I can't find one that I like!

So many black covers, I really don't want anything quite so functional.
Where can I find something more interesting ?

I don't think it exactly qualifies as stylish but Cath Kidston have got some lovely gadget cases in at the mo, I'm very pleased with my kindle one and I did see some iPad ones in the shop when I was last in.

MarshaBrady · 06/02/2012 18:17

Some lovely ones here NaP.

A range of £.

KnittingNovice · 06/02/2012 18:44

Tobermory · 06/02/2012 21:13

Luckily marshabrady none of the v expensive ones that I liked we're the book style that I'm after!

msarsebiscuit I have had my eye on that and if it was purple shiny I'd have it in a heart beat!

knitting is the swivel thing useful or just a gadget?

I have the spotty Cath Kidston one which is very hard wearing and not top kitsch. My kids have colourful ones from amazon. Faux leather for about £10. Have had for 18 months and v hard wearing.

Msarsebiscuit · 06/02/2012 21:22

Tobermory, think they might do a purple one. They're lovely.

Freshlettice · 06/02/2012 22:01

I have the one from Amazon it 's a Tecknet and comes in lots of colours, I have the purple one. www.amazon.co.uk/TeckNet®-Premium-Magnetic-Sensor-Feature/dp/B000NJUYKO/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1328565488&sr=8-1-spell
It' s fake suede/leather but really nice and does the magnetic ipad shutdown thingy like the expensive apple ones. It also makes the ipad stand up in 2 ways.

AmyGroovy3 · 06/02/2012 22:15

Snap, I have the tecknet one as well, dropped my iPad twice (oops) but it survived well in this case

HotBurrito1 · 06/02/2012 22:18

This is nice.

Tobermory · 06/02/2012 23:16

msarsebiscuit, they don't Sad it's red or black

Hot burrito, yes that is nice and it does the swivel thing. But £70 Shock

Am i the only person in the world who doesn't like orla kiely patterns?

skandi1 · 07/02/2012 01:16

Mulberry

Msarsebiscuit · 07/02/2012 02:50

Anniewoo, no you're not, I can't stand them, it's like being transported back to the seventies and no-one wants that.

Tobermory · 07/02/2012 18:16

Mulberry, wayyyy too pricey.
I'm not even going to look at whether they do a folio one!

OP posts:
KnittingNovice · 07/02/2012 18:20

I love the swivel,it means I can stand it either way. It's like this one but purple

kbaby · 07/02/2012 18:34

I bought a apple cover for doing the twirly stand up pyramid thing, but as I wanted something to store my iPad in that I could stuff in my bag etc I bought this one which is hard covered but compact.

I have the Michael Kors snakeskin one. It's gorgeous.

Msarsebiscuit · 12/02/2012 12:43

I imagine you've already sorted yourself out with an iPad case but I remembered these, saw them on King St in Manchester last year and had forgotten what the company was called - they are absolutely gorgeous in real life, excellent quality leather.
