Does anyone know which omega 3 supps to take?

I'm hoping that someone might be able to give me some advice...
I'm confused! Omega 3, 6 and 9? From fish or flax? And what dosage?

Do you give them to your kids too (obv in a smaller dosage)?

I take echiomega capsules which are veggie and cover all 3. DD is only 20 months so I think she probably gets sufficient through my milk...

you should take 1 from a fish source and 1 from a plant source, the best I've found are from Higher Nature, you buy online and comes with free delivery:
the fish one is called FISH OIL (I think?) and the other is STARFLOWER OIL (Borage) Cold Pressed. These two supplements (1 of each a day) will give you all the omegas 3, 6 and 9 you need.
Don't buy the ones that promise to give you everything in 1 capsule, they don't!

ps for kids prob best to give them seeds, flax or pumpkin - you should be able to get an oil for kids from Whole Foods or Higher Nature also

You need ones from fish.

And ones with a high dose of EPA. Certainly higher EPA than DHA.

I recommend Vegepa for both you and your kids.

Thank you all so much. Very helpful.
We have all recently started taking vit d3 supplements and I'm sure it is helping our immunity, we dont seem to have had the usual run of coughs and colds this winter (immediately curses self). I thought some essential fat ones would be good too. I will get ordering.
