Anyone seen a nice wool coat in the sales?

I'm looking for something like this, preferably navy but charcoal grey or even black would be ok.

Ok, so "nice" sounds lame. I want slim, simple, classic, well-fitting, single-breasted.

It really depends on the shop - I'm quite reliably a 6. A Boden 8 is too big for me, for example. Don't know about Hobbs? Love that second one though! Hmmm. Do you know whether they tend to be on the big or small side?

The Boden one is nice too - I've looked at it before and there were no navy ones left, they must have had some returns. Going to have another look...

Is it a full length coat you're after?

Have you tried the online companies, promod, ASOS, COS, BooHoo?

There's a few in the online sales at the moment

Thanks dotty - it's nice but I think I want it to be more fitted than that. Which is why I'm unsure about the Boden one - looks a nice shape on the dummy but more up and down on the model.

ProfCox - Have tried asos, none of the others, will go and have a look. I would like something at least mid-thigh and no longer than knee-length.

Uniqlo had some great single-breasted 100% wool/cashmere ones. Sold out online but worth a look in the shop. Small sizing as well, worth looking out for.
