Is this coat a warm winter coat and well as being waterproof? It feels too thin to be really warm but I am tempted .

It depends on your definition of very warm.

Its warm enough but on a day like today (minus 3 this morning) I wished I had put an extra jumper on under it. I wasn't like freezing, but I wasn't warm.

I does seem to be pretty waterproof, it doesn't look awful and its pretty reasonably priced. I got mine just after Christmas and am quite please with it.

It's not like wearing a duvet one. I did a -2degC school run today with just a long sleeved tshirt under. Could have added a cardy but was ok once I'd warmed up.
