Mine: Simple wipes to take off makeup, followed by Simple cleansing gel used with a hot muslin cloth. simple light moisturiser. Was using Avene but I think it was breaking me out. Have also started using Pan Oxyl 10 on spots at night.
I am using either Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation or Revlon Colorstay but neither cover up my red scars enough.
Dr has just put me on Lymecycline, hope it helps.

I suffered bad adult acne for a few years tried every cleanser but nothing worked . Pan oxl is rubbish it just made my skin itchy . I was eventually given zineryt and it was like a miracle cure !! I am now completely acne free !Grin

Good luck Smile

I didn't find anything sorted out my acne other than severe treatment (Roaccutane, followed by choosing a 'skin friendly' contraceptive pill and an occasional course of Minocin or other antibiotic to keep it at bay).

But in terms of skincare, I cannot use moisturiser otherwise I get blackheads and spots. I use a primer under my foundation instead, then MAC Studio Fix (which is pretty good coverage but not too mask-like if you apply with a brush). I believe Estee Lauder Double Wear is good coverage and lasts well too, but I haven't tried it for years (did use it briefly when at university but didn't like it, was very hard to blend and very heavy).

I occasionally use Clinique clarifying lotion and exfoliating scrub (the really heavy duty one, not the 7 day scrub) but basically I use Dove soap and a facecloth, which I boil was twice a week.

...PS I tried Zineryt too, and it's quite good but I prefer Differin gel (not greasy, no smell or colour, doesn't make your skin red at all or irritate it like most acne treatments). You may have to request it though, the Dr who last prescribed it to me said it was very expensive and so they don't prescribe it routinely.

My skin has been bad since adolescence - I'm 36. I'm trying Botanics cleansing balm, Ren serum and mineral make-up (Lily Lolo samples at present but my friend has recommended Bare Minerals from QVC). Good luck!

Eve Lom Cleanser, Dalacyn on the spotty areas (prescription lotion) and a light moisturiser on top - currently one by Revive. Morning and evening.

Dalacyn has made a great difference to me. My skin is clearer than ever now.
