www.riverisland.com/Online/women/skirts/midi-skirts/brown-leopard-print-pencil-skirt-614426 (sorry, can't do pretty blue links, I'm on my phone.)

I bought this today to wear for my sister's 18th birthday this weekend, but am now panicking about my god forsaken mummy tummy.
I'm 5 foot 4 and a size 14. Not bad calves and tatas, but wobbly bulbous belly.
Am I kidding myself that this could look nice? Obviously with some industrial support pants!

I think it is probably going to be quite revealing and it won't hide any sins

Thanks for the link Smile
And oh no, that's what I thought... back to the drawing board!

What are you wearing on your top half? It would be ok if you had something a bit ruffly on top, just black maybe, with black tights and killer heels? I like the skirt, don't give up on it just yet.

SocialButterfly · 01/02/2012 21:01

It's lovely but I'm a similar size to you and I wouldn't wear it, pencil skirts do tend to make your tummy look bigger.

Whathashappenedtomyboobs · 01/02/2012 21:01

I like it, wouldn't wear it myself because my tummy is dreadful now even with support pants....what top you gonna wear?

scentednappyhag · 01/02/2012 21:09

A black printed vest (aerosmith in case it matters Grin), red waist belt, back seamed stockings and red killer heels.
I may just brazen it out and wear my curves proudly? Grin

I like it a lot and used to have one similar, years ago when I was much thinner.

I don't think it's going to be very forgiving of lumps and bumps though

scentednappyhag · 02/02/2012 21:37

Well, I've tried on the outfit today, and while it may not be the most forgiving of skirts, I'm pretty sure I'm going to accessorise it with a fair dollop of confidence and rock it regardless Grin I'm sure after my first pint of tequila I'll be convinced I look gorgeous anyway Grin

That sounds like a fab combo! It's one of those looks that'll work as long as you have the confidence, and it sounds like you do! Her 18yr old friends will think you're fab!!

RollerCola · 03/02/2012 19:51
