Nice? hideous? Not suitable for dancing?

I think it is the kind of dress that would wear you, rather than you wearing the dress, IFYSWIM?

That's another thing I was worried about, I'm quite small and don't want to look like I've been raiding my mum's wardrobe!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the first one. It's perfect and in my size, have just ordered it! I got very excited when saw it (tragic I know!) but it's just lovely. It was well worth coming on here today, thank you loads.

Can I ask what shoes and accessories (if any) with the black Kaliko dress? Obv nothing at the neck but what about a wrist cuff or something perhaps? Would rather not have black shoes as well as black dress but not sure what colour to go for. Sorry, I am useless so any advice welcome!

Glad you have ordered another dress rather than the purple ruffled señorita number - it scared me!

With the black dress, you could add a bit of colour e.g purple strappy heels and clutch and a gold cuff/chunky bracelet.

Moveslikejagger · 31/01/2012 21:45

I thought it was quite nice Faff but I reckon I'd look hilarious in it and not in a good way! Smile

I do love the Kaliko that world recommended and I got it for another £20 off with the code on the website so it's a bit of a bargain. Like the idea of purple heels with it or would these be awful?

when did next start selling lk bennett??? and why???

anyway, shoes are nice but more expensive than your dress!!!

worldgonecrazy · 01/02/2012 10:26

Shoes are nice but you could probably find similar cheaper elsewhere. I would keep the jewellery and accessories to a minimum, the dress doesn't need embellishment, and spend the money saved on getting my hair and make up done professionally.
