I feel like shite - what is your best pick me up? A new lipstick's not going to cut it. I'm tired, dehydrated, wrinkled and jaded. Anyone?

large glass of chilled sauvignon blanc. Obviously. And the boxed set of Mad Men.

CeliaFate · 30/01/2012 20:45

for me, hot bath, bath oil, cup of tea and a whole pack of something to dunk :)

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 30/01/2012 20:46

Floradix tablets - in fact, you've reminded me that I need to buy some!

Long soak in the bath with a good book (a comfort read - one I know I like, rather than something new) and some bubbles. Then slather mosituriser (or Bio-Oil) all over afterwards, whilst your skin is still a bit damp.

Paint nails - toes and fingers.

CeliaFate · 30/01/2012 20:46

I was thinking more of a miracle cream/treatment. Bugger. Best just get pissed then!

Floradix? Intriguing! Have to google that.

They are iron tablets - can get in Holland and Barratt - really good for perking you up a bit if over-tired.

Clure · 30/01/2012 22:20

running whilst listening to some VERY loud hard rock music

mrsmartin · 30/01/2012 22:21

I give myself an elemis/decleor facial and a manicure, then cozy up in bed with a yankee candle and my happy book (jane eyre for me). I'm sure if I drank then that would be added in the list too!!!

ujjayi · 30/01/2012 22:23

I agree with Clure. A run with music as loud as possible. It definitely worked for me today.....and I'm usually in the Chardonnay camp :)

Beauty flash balm and/or chantecaille jasmine and lily healing mask. The chantecaille is hideously expensive but makes me happy every time I use it, smells gorgeous, and the jar has lasted me a year. Its vvv moisturising and fixes problems like spots and redness - never found anything else that does both at the same time! I use it as a night cream once or twice a week.

Beauty flash balm just makes your make up look awesome.

Oooh

Foot rub
Pedicure
Leg massage
Massive glass of ice cold Pinot
trashy Magazine
Professional Blow Dry
Champagne, half bottle of...
Soothing face mask
Bath of thousands of bubbles
Candle of subtle but exquisite scent
Long awaited novel

First a really nice mug of tea, then, in order

A good workout - Jillian Michaels (shred or NMTZ)

A hot bath (waitrose Umi chilli chocolate bubbles) with candles and a magazine.

Paint nails a strong colour

Clean sheets.
