razors - whats good?

I need to attack my legs, havent shaved for a while, but cant afford to wax atm. Used to use wilkison sword green disposables, but they seem to have become crap at some point in the last few years? either that or my leg hair is worse..
So what gives a good finish?

so no one shaves their legs I know its not exciting..

I've got a gillette fusion now but wish I'd bought another Mach 3.

I know they're mens razors but they tend to be better at not cutting your ankles/knees to shreds esp if you have 2 under 26 months and look like a yeti don't have time to shave regularly!

My dd and I both use the razors with built in soap/moisturiser bars. Gillette Venus or there is a chunkier version called intuition. They are good in the shower as you don't need foam which I find washes off before u get near it with a razor.

Venus.IMO definately better than wilkinson sword razors. And the blades last ages if you're a dirty mare like me and eek them out as long as possible.....

yy - gillette venus spa breeze are great, no need for foam so you can see what you are doing and it is v. quick in the shower. I have had no cuts since switching to these (particularly around the knee area!) even when I was 8+ months pregnant I could still manage to shave legs safely!

doughnutty I have in the past used mens disposables, they seem to be cheaper. So its between the Mach 3 adn the Venus. Thank-you ladies. Did not want to spend out on a dozen crap razors before hitting on one that worked x
