I bought a huge black velevet coat in Wallis about 10 years ago, and I still get compliments on it, it has faux fur collar and big deep faux fur cuffs. Every time I wear it the PP whistles the theme tune from DR Zhivago.

a sort of damson-fool coloured jumper i got in per una sale about 4 years ago. it is a really heavy knit with deep moss-stich cuffs and hem and i love it.

Much coveted Radley handbag - black with a little blue dog. I have waited years for this and dp bought it for Christmas for me as I was wandering around with a bag I got free with a magazine which had no zip.

An orangey embroidered indiany style top I got in the summer... had random strangers asking where I got it from. Wore it a whole 3 times, got pregnant, and norks made it look a bit too pride and prejudice in the top area!!! Annoying cos it is loose round the stomach bit and would have fitted over my bump well!

Not me but dh gets loads of admiring comments when he wears his waistcoat. It it a tapestry one I made myself and it had the most fabulous pattern/pictures on it. He is a big guy so he can wear it without it looking OTT. I get lots of requests to make them (until they hear how much it would cost )
