why cant i find just a plain LBD in my size!!

i want just a plain LBD with straps or sleeves(lack of norkage means i cant wear strapless without it falling down).no frills,just something not too expensive that will go with all my shoes!
im a 6 but short so needs to be petite or childrens.
just got one from h & m but it comes to my knees!
any ideas?

loving the pintuck-i wanted evening but i think with the right heels it would look fab.
