Have mineral foundations fallen out of favour?

I used to use the maybelline one and it was discontinued.

Then used prestige skin loving minerals which I got in boots, and now they don't do it anymore.

I don't want to buy my foundation online, I want to be able to pick it up in boots or at a beauty counter

Have they fallen out of favour with mainstream cosmetic companies now? I can't afford Clinique/Clarins etc anymore so please don't suggest that

Avon do nice one that's a good price
also l'oreal , think there are loads around.

I hate the loreal one as I can't find the right shade for me and even if I mix two to get the right shade I still find it too heavy. Can you buy Avon in boots etc?

There used to be loads around - but now when I look in Boots none of the usual suspects seem to stock anything, when I swear a year or two ago they did.

Maybelline certainly did one and now it's gone.

There's a mineral range sold at Debenhams beginning with n. You couid have a look there

It is a pain having to buy online, I'm such a skinflint, I wait until I'm completely out before I'll buy more, then I'd have to wait until it arrived! I use BareMinerals which is about the biggest brand there is, you can get this in Debenahms or House of Fraser.

IMO Lilylolo is best but only online.

You can get Bare Escentuals in department stores.

Body Shop do one. Boots No.7 did one but not sure if they still do. Superdrug do a range called Une which has a mineral foundation. There are definitely still lots out there.

ditto -UNE cosmetics, stocked in boots and superdrug have mineral foundation- just bought some more today. The body shop one I tried not as good as the Une one.
