any recommendations - I don't want anything too drying so not keen on Laura Mercier one.

thanks

Have you tried Touche Eclat?

40notTrendy · 26/01/2012 10:44

Would recommend touch éclat too! I'm pale. It's not exactly a concealer but certainly disguises black rings and wrinkles to some extent.

Elemental · 26/01/2012 10:51

I've just got the new Soap and Glory Kickass Concealer and am very impressed. It's a lovely little pot of 2 shades of concealer for blending (one for undereye and one for blemishes, ostensibly) and a powder puff to set on top.

anniewoo · 26/01/2012 11:24

Touche eclat now comes in about 5 shades- the best

Casablancagirl · 26/01/2012 11:30

Definitely Touche Eclat!!

monkeysmama · 26/01/2012 11:35

Have you tried the Bobbi Brown one? It is really creamy. My see through skinned sister uses it.

Mabelface · 26/01/2012 11:38

Bobbi Brown. It was recommended to me by a lady on here and I love it. You go to one of their counters in a department store and they colour match you. It lasts for aaaages too.

MrsCampbellBlack · 26/01/2012 12:18

Not a fan of touche eclat but do like BB so will pop along to their counter and try.

Thanks.

Oh also bought the estee lauder idealist which I posted about the other day and its lovely - makes your skin feel like velvet.

Touche eclat is not a concealer, it's a highlighter. Just sayin'. I like Bobbi Brown or Armani.

MrsCampbellBlack · 26/01/2012 12:43

Thats what I thought Olivetti and have seen too many scary photos of celebs with the reverse panda eyes look.

Not that I'm too likely to be papped to be fair Wink

Unfortunately no Armani counters down this way.

No to touche eclait as first coat although i do touch up with that during the day

CountessOlenska · 26/01/2012 13:02

I don't like Touche Eclat either. I am pale, and have an Illamasqua under eye concealer, which is good, but does need to be applied with care, with a brush really.

The Lancome brush one, Teint Miracle is good. Made me able to go out looking at least alive when had newborn Smile

Northumberlandlass · 26/01/2012 14:10

I didn't think Touch Eclat was a concealer, more a highlighter ? Correct me if I am wrong. I use the Aldi highlighter pen - I love it. At £3.99, its worth a shot.

I am very fair and it suits me perfectly !

Xanadudoo · 26/01/2012 14:34

Touche Eclat is crap as a highlighter, though! I only eve use it under my eyes. Its the only stuff have found that is light and moisturising and doesnt sink into creases - although am interested in other suggestions!

southeastastra · 26/01/2012 14:36

i like the no 7 one and even rimmel hide blemish, tried other expensive ones but keep coming back to these 2

therumoursaretrue · 26/01/2012 15:25

Illamasqua under eye concealer is nice and blends easily as it is creamy. They have a really good range of colours too, I am practically see through so they definitely cater well for pale skin!

Msarsebiscuit · 26/01/2012 15:28

Mrs CB, you can buy Armani online now either from Selfridges or from their own site www.giorgioarmanibeauty.co.uk/make-up/face/concealer.aspx. Not tried their concealer but have the Luminous Silk foundation, which I've wanted for years - it's excellent, however, I have tried Touche Éclat, Guerlain version of TC, Clinique version of TC, By Terry Light Doodah, Benefit Boiing, Benefit Lemon Aid, Mac Moisture Cover, Mac Studio Finish Concealer and the Bobbi Brown Corrector and Concealer ( not all at once ). I'm very pale and my current favourites are a few dots of the Mac Moisture cover and a swish of the Studio Finish but I'm a make up harlot and may change again, I've yet to find the perfect solution

Olivetti · 26/01/2012 15:33

Xanadudoo - I agree, it's very light, but it does give you that reverse panda look. It's the way it reflects the light. I'm a total hypocrite, I used it for years under my eyes, but now I look back at photos of myself and cringe!

StuckInTheFensAwayFromHome · 26/01/2012 15:40

Am very pale and I used to use Touche Eclat and thought it was fab.

Just for a change I've been using the Benefit one (can't remember name but its in a small pink pot like a lip balm shape) and i'm converted for 2 reasons.
Its actually good on spots and actual blemishes and its lasting for bloomin ages. I reckon I may have had it for 2 years and its only half used. I use a little brush to dot it on my face - so not sticking my fingers in and I reckon I may have another 2 years out of it!

monkeysmama · 26/01/2012 16:43

Like Ms I don't particularly rate the By Terry under eye products. I've tried two - one a concealer and one a highligher and wasn't anywhere near as impressed as I am with their other products.

If you ever wear minerals I like the Bare Minerals Well Rested under my eyes. Does exactly what it says on the tin.

fluffylegs · 26/01/2012 19:16

Have a look at Ellis Faas in Space NK too it's very good as its quite liquid so good for under eyes. But then dries and stays put.
