ill be 6 weeks(ish) post partum, probably c section so can't risk hold in underwear. Need to look as together as possible! Happy to spend up to £50. Size 14 ish, & 30.

Also don't want v high heels/crushed feet, but don't want dumpy legs either. Will also have 2 year old in tow!

Ideas & tips please ladies.

On phone and too tired to try and link - and I'm sure someone more knowledgable than me will be along shortly - but mamaNANA source some lovely nursing dresses. Worth a look. I had a couple of Mothers en Vogue pieces which I got from them but have since found a couple of distributors in the UK.

I'll get it over with and ask the obvious now... does it need to be a dress? It's aaaages ago that i was in this position - my youngest is 6, but I gave in and chose nice separates for parties and weddings when bfing.

This with a vest underneath, got all my nursing dresses from H&M and love this one... might buy it...

That says knee length but reaches the model's upper thigh...

I'd rather a dress for comfort & silhouette. Wore separates to a similar do last time, also post section & felt a bit restricted & frumpy. Don't mind investing in a dress, I have a few bloody weddings this year.

Mamanana looks good, thanks.

Babes with babies is also a good online store for nursing dresses and they have a sale on at the mo.

I have just bought a couple of things form MamaFeelsGood and they arrived really quickly. Not sure how weddingy they are/you need to be but I got the black dress which you could dress up with jewellery/shoes/bag/pashmina and it's v comfy.
