Skinny Black Jeans v Black Leggings.....

Once I've thrown a long top over them they do look very similar but when I add high black stilettoes (very trendy patent platform ones I hasten to add) to the leggings it just doesn't seem right.

The crux of the matter is......are leggings and high heels a no-no?

Saying that heeled ankle boots and leggings okay (wore some with a dress at weekend)

I agree with cyb although I do rock the whole footless tights and heels alot

Now I've just said that out loud typed I beg the question wtf is the difference between footless tights and leggings? In my mind there is but I can't name it

Footless tights are made from "tighty" material. Leggings are made out of stretchy t shirty stuff

FWIW my leggings are made of very shiny black material and I would wear pop sox underneath them with the heels - god its starting to sound really dire now......

What was I thinking!!

Also the whole leggings and pumps thing just doesn't work for me cos of my chicken legs. I definitely need to elongate.
