Chanel teinte innocence discontinued, quel horreur!

Any suggestions for a foundation as good as teinte innocence? I can't believe it's gone, and buying up remaining Internet stock means paying for the flaming compact every time instead of having those lovely little refills which I could tuck in my handbag. Chanel aren't replacing it until April, and I'm never going to find the extra 20 minutes required for liquid foundation. Answers on a postcard please.

Dior's Forever compact is really nice. It has a bit of a 'glow' to it like the Teint Innocence. It is a powder foundation not a cream to powder though, but doesn't look chalky like a lot of powder foundations can. I think their Nude compact is a creamy one but I've not tried it so can't offer an opinion.

Noooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is my life-saver!!! Why why why why why why why why? Why do they always dicker with the stuff that works? IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT!!

I used to use Teint Innocence but switched to this Dior one and find it very similar

Which shade do you use? I bought one and couldn't get on with it so used it maybe once or twice, its still in the drawer. If the right shade for anyone on this thread I'll send it for the cost of the postage. I'm at work now so will check shade tonight.

Sounds like Dior has it, I'll give it a go. Thanks all

I checked the shade it says Cameo-Clair.

If anyone wants it, it's theirs.

Would you believe the Dior compact foundation has also just been discontinued. I have managed to Hoover up all the refills in this area. Whoever is making marketing decisions doesn't think we're important!

OK, I just tried out a Max Factor foundation and i think it's a pretty good imitation. Same cream compact style with a sponge applicator.

It's Max Factor Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation, cost £12.99 at Superdrug. www.maxfactor.co.uk/uk/products/Face/Foundations/miracle/shade.aspx

Not sure I've got the right shade -- I was Clair-Cameo with Teint Innocence, and trying out Creamy Ivory with Max Factor. But i think it's a bit pale.

ooh, Aworryingtrend, I just read your post properly. Erm, if it's still available...?!

Aworryingtrend · 08/02/2012 07:52
