What shoes with my skirts/dresses for summer?

I was styled in the autumn! I'm a sahm (unexpectedly...lost my job whilst on mat leave) and wanted a smart-casual but practical look for me.
So, I was given great advice in 2 shops - fat face, and kew. I have skinny (but nice ) legs and thought it was time to wear skirts before I'm too old.

I am now wearing skirts - a cord one, and a cutesy denim one - and also a jersey dress with thick woolly tights and boots. boots! www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_050010516988_-1?breadcrumb=Home~Women~Shoes+%26amp%3B+boots

I'm new to skirt wearing - what do I do come summer? On my feet - I always have issues with what shoes to put on.

I don't really want heels, because I'm usually pushing a pram or chasing after a toddler. If I wear ballet flats, what do I put on my legs? *Note - I live in Wales!

Thanks!

I don't do heels either. I have 2 pairs of shoes from Clarks:

sooooo comfy, in plain grey

a bit like these but without the bow

Both extremely comfy, one is quite sporty, the other is a bit smarter. I love them both Grin

Ooh, now, the second pair - I got alternatives at the bottom and I love those. I'm worried about ballets but they're both a bit more substantial. Thanks!
