My hair is in a mess! I came back from holiday in october and hair was like a shaggy mop, and as i couldn't get into my usual place, I decided to go to a hairdresser i found on the web who had some very positive reviews - the stylist there told me i'd had a rubbish cut before - didn't tell him it was by a top stylist (hint = RB of wolverhampton and london) he also said my hair was in bad condition - not true! Anyway i ended up with a flicky out style and far far too short on top AND it looks like a chunk out it behind my left ear - i went back to my old salon and he tried to sort it out - now, 2 months on, its still too short on top and still looks shapeless and i have a cow lick for a fringe. Do i avoid hairdressers for a while and keep trying to grow it out or do i go back to my usual place soon and have it trimmed up while letting the top keep growing??

I'd keep having it trimmed, while letting it grow on top, as it'll stand more chance of looking half way decent.
