Where can I get reasonably priced quality ballet flats?

I love ballet flats, but have found that most are either inexpensive ones that fall apart easily and are uncomfortable as you can feel through the soles. I'd like a pair of red ones for the spring (yes I know it's not spring yet) that I can wear with skinnies, bretton top etc. Ideally they'd have a small heal, but a proper heal rather than a sliver.

I know there's French Sole, but I'd rather not pay £90 - I was thinking more like £50.

I have these and they are incredibly comfy and cute, they seem to be sold out on the Clarks site but a few other sites still have them here

Are you small sized? Quite often I find children's shoes better quality than adult's- boden, next, etc

Gap do reasonable ballet flats too, I have 2 pairs of the fold-up type, often used for driving, and I change into heels on arrival IYSWIM.

Oh goody, glad you like them . I bought them in black too I love them so much

Arghh for boring practice reasons I could only order them today and they've sold out now. I can't find them in red on any other sites.

Any other ideas?

Try Kate Kanzier, and also GAP - although they don't often have ballet flats, when they do they're fab. Comfy & last for ever.

Or even try Hobbs - they do the style you're talking about and they often have them in the outlet online.
