Has anyone tried Ojon hair products

I have very thick, dry, curly frizzy hair. I have never found a product that really helps smooth my hair and was wondering whether to give ojon stuff a go. Has anyone else had experience of them?

Yes I tried the conditioning cream you comb through it made my hair soft.

The conditioner and shampoo,I found hard to wash out. You can get a trial kit I think John Lewis stills sells it to try before you buy.

There was a thread on Ojon a few months ago so it's worth searching for it. I bought some of the volumising shampoo/conditioner and serum. They were ok but I didn't purchase again when they'd run out.

Nice but I was persuaded not too buy because everyone I new who had it ended up saying that after a couple weeks it was too rich and they all ended up putting it in their guest bathrooms ( to impress guests like me!)

"knew" that should be

I have used the ojon restorative cream, and thats really nice, it leaves your hair feeling very soft, shiny and conditioned. I don't really like the shampoos that much as they leave My hair full of static.

I've used the restorative treatment and it works brilliantly - smoothed my frizzy curls but gave me more volume at the same time somehow (don't know how you'd feel about that with your thick hair).

I didn't repurchase it though because it stank so strongly of cigarettes and chocolate! It was foul! It's also a faff as you have to warm it up for ages between your hands until it goes from an opaque hard cream to a clear oil.

I've just seen (damn you) that it has a lighter scent now so am tempted to repurchase: Ojon hair treatment

Have you tried Moroccan Oil ? On me it has a better smoothing, shining effect than the Ojon but no volumising, so you might prefer it.

Viv your the opposite to Me, I love love the smell, I use it purposely for the smell.
My 7 year old hates it, and refuses to have it on her hair.

MaryWiselyornotatall · 19/01/2012 12:41

I have the restorative treatment, and it does wonders for hair that is dry or damaged, although the smell is a bit pungent. I really like it, but DH avoids me when it is on my hair.

Also use Moroccan Oil every day as a serum, and it keeps hair shiny and soft, and hairdresser says my hair is in really good condition, despite regular colouring and straightening.

Organic Virgin Coconut Oil is very good as a hair treatment and is a lot cheaper!

The Ojon products I've used have been very nice though and I actually love the smell of the restorative treatment.

Restorative shampoo and conditioner here- hair is transformed. Seems to do what even Keristase could not.
