Sob Sob.My lovely warm coat has to be returned..it leaks feathers everywhere...help.

After what seems like an eternity of looking for a warm waterproof coat i ordered a diamond down coat from Lands end.It arrived, i fell in love, i even ordered another in a different colour.After a week or so i noticed some of the feathers poking out, then more and more untill it started to look like it had snowed on me.I'm gutted.Thier customer services have been great and have offered an exchange or refund no problem. MY problem is i dont know which coat to get now.Any ideas ?

I had the same problem with a Lands End coat from last year. I returned and they refunded. They are very good.

Scarlet76- what did you get to replace it?Im gutted it seem to tick all the boxs (apart from the waterproof bit)

I had exactly the same with my diamond down coat from LE. I sent it back & ordered another one (in the sale mwahahaha!) This doesn't seem to be as bad but is still shedding a bit. But my M & S one I've had for years was the same. Trouble is, it shows with the LE one as it's the deep amethyst colour. It's not too bad but if it gets any worse it's going back (the zip's not right either, is driving me kerrrrazy). Oh, BTW, as they don't do free returns I put a note in with mine stating I expected my return postage to be refunded as it was faulty - & they did :)

oh pants seems like a real problem with these coats. The search continues for a warm waterproof bum covering hooded coat.
