I have discovered I'm in Mum Boot Hell & need advice

Right, I used to think I was quite stylish but have now discovered I am in fact a Mum-booting disgrace.

The problem is that I need a boot with a heel 'cause I am 5'2" with a 6' husband - and if I don't wear heels of some sort I look like I am his child. I also have a chronic pain condition so I need something comfortable BUT I hate all the really clumpy, motorcyle/military type boots that seem so beloved on here.

I am flummoxed and any suggestions would be very welcome.

I have these boots (although I paid full price...grrr) and I could honestly walk miles in them, so so comfy . And its a decent heel but not tottery : ) I absolutely need comfort in my footwear

I agree Cleopatras asp. Don't like clumpy military style boots beloved of Mumsnetters. I go to a link and go 'what u like them!!'

I feel your pain - H is 6'3 and I am 5' nothing!! saw a pic of myself with him the other day and I do look like a doll!!
Footwear wise, I have a pair of cowboy style boots in chocolate brown that I got from Dune this winter. They have a heel and so give me some height. Look good with skinnies tucked in but also with my denim skirt.
I have a pair of platform heeled animal print boots that make me at least 5'4
Wedge heeled boots are also good

Clarks have had some nice knee highs recently with a decent heel but not frumpy looking.
I got some in stone with a decent sized heel but a platform sole so it's actually really comfy and don't feel like you are tottering around.
