coat help - have you seen my perfect coat?

I'm looking for a coat which needs the following criteria - have you seen one on your travels? I've already checked Debenhams, ASOS, House of Fraser, Oasis website and can't see anything I like.

It needs to be warm and practical for school runs and football sidelines but also stylish with a nice shape.

Colours:- Navy blue, other blue, purple, pink
Size 10
Bum covering - I weat leggings and tunics / cardigans so ideally it will be long enough to cover these
Possible hooded - not keen onf fur trims but ok if detachable perhaps

I did order this a while ago and if it had been a different colour I think I would have kept it. I like the fact it is warm and practical but also nipped in at the waist and gave a nice shape rather than looking as if I was wearing a duvet!

Can anyone help me find what I'm looking for?

Thanks Euphemia,

It's not a bad start, it looks a little shapeless though. Can you pull it in at the waist any more? Do you have it in red & how does the sizing come up?

I looked at another lands end one yesterday but was worried it wasn't shaped enough and a bit duvet like it was this one but every time I went to buy it something stopped me Hmm

Uniqulo? A friend has this in white and it's lovely.

After much searching I bought this Didrikson Elly it's great, and can be pulled in at the waist by a belt across the back with poppers.

I did try that Landsend Essential Down you mentioned, but I didn't like the white feathers that seem to come out of it, and I don't have a tumble drier either to dry it.

How long is that one please? It looks a bit too long but I can't seem to open the sizing info on ther webpage.

that's 'cause I haven't managed to fill those bits in yet Blush... (re: Elly). No size 10s left for you to try unfortunately. The rootbeet is a dark purple colour and it's the only colour most shops have left so someone else might have it
