I just cannot seem to get myself looking half decent lol! Am still breastfeeding through night so am constantly in land of zombies I feel and lost too much weight, hair lol and skin just looks much older! Just feel like I need to go to a spa for a month! Ashamed am still wearing pj's under my clothes to take my son to school in the morning after a year! Why can't I get it together, any others like me:)

My youngest is 18 months and I am only just starting to get back to feeling like me if that makes you feel any better!

My problem is that since 2008 I've been either pg or breastfeeding or both and in that time the style of clothes in the shops has completely changed. I went shopping today, purse at the ready and came home with one t-shirt Sad I was just clueless!

When I starting feeling like you are now my main aim was to get make up on each day, then I felt better about myself. Gradually I aimed to do my nail varnish once a week too. Its amazing the difference those two things made to how I felt. Is there a few little achievable things you could do too?

God, me too. Can't even put hair in a ponytail at the moment as i have fetching sideburns where my hair is growing back after it all fell out 4 months post partum. DD2 is 7 months now, and i too have been pregnant or breastfeeding since mid 2008.

I barely took my PJs off during my 6 months maternity leave but going back to work forced me to sort out how I look.

  1. Keep cleanser in the shower and a mild facial exfoliater - only takes seconds to to do a quick face scrub (I only use the exfoliater 2/3 times per week)
  2. Put clothes on hanger the night before - everything on the hanger, knickers, bra, socks, accessories etc so easy just to get dressed quickly in the morning. I do this after settling DD for the night and before I go downstairs and flop in front of the TV
  3. I only wash my hair twice a week - in between times put it up and buy some nice hair accessories to distract from the grime!
  4. Put small make up bag somewhere near a mirror and easy to get at - mine is in the keys bowl on the kitchen table - BB cream, concealer, blush and vaseline rosy lips - I can have it on in about 1 minute. considering adding mascara to the routine but not sure if I can be arsed! Keep a tweezers in same bag to sort out any stray hairs I spot while putting on make up
  5. Keep nails v short, file once a week in front of Tv and one coat of clear nail varnish
  6. Take a slightly longer shower once a week and do quick legs, pits and bikini line shave
  7. Get eyebrows threaded about once a month - it sometimes stretches to 6 weeks

And get a walk in every day - makes a huge difference to how you look and feel.
