Has anyone got any ideas for a website for a dresss for a 24 year old to go to a wedding.
She has looked at the usual ones Boohoo, Asos, top shop, miss selfridge, John Lewis etc.

I think she is after something off the beaten track but not costing mega bucks IYSWIM.

Coast?

upahill · 16/01/2012 20:41

I think Coast is a bit too old for her.

(although I saw a dress there last year that I really really wanted and it was out of stock! Sad I still think about it!!)

Coast is too old? Sad I love Coast and thought it was quite trendy!

Anyway, what about Debenhams then?

upahill · 16/01/2012 20:45

Well it is if you are 24 and go clubbing all the time!!

She didn't like anything there either!

Not that she is fussy or anything!

Though she might want to wait a couple of weeks for all the spring stuff to come in.

tethersend · 16/01/2012 21:13

What's her budget, size and usual style?

SianBB · 16/01/2012 21:24

It's bloody good isn't it AKiss

upahill · 16/01/2012 21:27

She is a size 16 I guess.
Student type budget, not got loads of brass.
Usual style clubby fun (but not whacky ) clubbing dresses.
That's about the best I can describe it. It's my friend's daughter.

Sorry for the hijack but have you ordered from there before SianBB? I'm thinking of doing the membership. I want to hire the Alexander McQueen silk dress for a wedding I have coming up.

tethersend · 16/01/2012 21:52

Has she looked at Lipsy?

Dorothy Perkins?

Oasis?

Fashion Union?

Karen Millen?

Peacocks? (while it lasts! )
