It made my eyes run like Buggery. I am not alone then.

Iatemyskinnyperson · 16/01/2012 00:16

First one I tried (Missha Perfect Cover) gave me a funny rash across my cheeks and made my eyes sting. Second one was brilliant. It was by Lioele, called Triple Solution or something. I got it from lillieshop.net, but you can get it on eBay. Would recommend, great SPF, nice coverage & texture.

mumatron · 16/01/2012 12:56

I thought it was just me.

i'm gutted because it made my skin lovely and fresh looking.

I stopped using it about a month ago and my eyes are still not 100% right :(

wildstrawberryplace · 16/01/2012 13:01

I had horribly sore eyes the last week or so...quite red and itchy. Coincided with starting to use BB cream. Since I stopped using the cream the last few days or so, my eyes got better and now no problems at all. Hmm I wonder what is in the buggers?

DeeCrepitude · 16/01/2012 13:15

I'm just about to choose a bb cream for dd so this doesn't sound good.

Do you mind me asking what brands you used? I was going to look at Boots no7 and 17.

AtYourCervix · 16/01/2012 13:38

mines the BOots no7 one.

The garnier one is nice, not had any problems.

mumatron · 16/01/2012 16:01

I have been using the Garnier one. It's lovely on my skin but kills my eyes.

Confused

I really don't want to take a risk with dd's eyes and she is a bit sensitive to things.

Disappointing as I have a £5 Boots voucher.

MadameCastafiore · 16/01/2012 17:20

What is BB Cream??

wildstrawberryplace · 16/01/2012 19:12

Dee, how about No7 intelligent foundation instead? It goes on very very lightly and gives sheer coverage. I'm not a fan of foundation per se but I found it a nice sheer, moisturising natural effect. Also the shades do adapt to your skin tone so less chance of a mismatch.

DeeCrepitude · 16/01/2012 19:18

Sounds interesting, thanks wildstrawberry, we'll take a look at that.

snoozingbeauty · 16/01/2012 21:06

I tried the Clinique one and found it fairly chalky, I looked quite pale, not sure if I picked the wrong shade but I think there were only two and I'm fairly fair... My best combination for that sort of natural coverage is Mama Mio Mighty Moisture (www.mamamio.com/uk/face/mighty-moisture.html) mixed with a bit of Clarins foundation, or topped off with Liz Earle Skin Tint.
