Where can I get a really thin vest with sleeves to wear under a tunic?

I have several nice tunics I've bought from Dorothy Perkins but they have very short capped sleeves and I want a bit more coverage on my arms.

I've been looking for a white non bulky vest/t-shirt with really thin materal to wear underneath with above elbow, 3/4 or full lenth sleeves. Most of what i've seen in the shops the material is too bulky.

Anyone have any ideas?

I like these - they last well too

I have a couple of these, very thin indeed but warm. Also these but the marks & spencer ones wash better and are slightly less close fitting.

I wear the M&S ones too.

I've also found the primarni long sleeve tshirts good. They're a bit hit and miss on size and colour but if they've got what you want only £3 a go and they wash brilliantly.

Heattech are great.

I would also suggest Uniqlo heattech. Love them

Another vote for Uniqlo HeatTech. I'm wearing one right now!

BikeRunSki · 15/01/2012 18:46

Another vote for the cheap stretchy Primark ones.

Thanks for your replies everyone!

I wonder if the HeatTech ones might be too hot for my office? Unfortunately they tend to have the heating up quite high so I generally have dress in summer weight clothes all year round!

The Uniqlo ones would be fine - they are warm without making you overheat

RecursiveMoon · 15/01/2012 19:45

Gap Body ones are really thin material, I love them. You wouldn't wear them by themself, as they're so thin. They have them in different sleeves lengths, colours etc.

Soopermum1 · 15/01/2012 23:02

watching with interest. I have both the Uniqlo one and the Marks one, but can't find something similar in white. Everything seems to be cream

tethersend · 15/01/2012 23:06

This stuff is supposed to be good...

RecursiveMoon · 16/01/2012 12:21

You can get white Gap Body ones! And other colours.

sobenobu · 16/01/2012 19:56

Uniqlo Heatech are a great shape. They have a scoop neck which is just low enough to not be visible.
