There was a lady, she wasn't orange . . .

in fact she was as pale as me and has changed my life!

I've been lurking around here for a while and finally decided to try to get a grip on the whole 'but why do the other school mums look more pulled together than me?' thing. Turns out the advice on BareMinerals is just the best - I've got the really pale Scottish skin / dark hair thing going on (more about that in a minute!), the not orange lady was reddish blonde and almost as pale as me - she told me I couldn't get the starter box because it was too dark, waved her magic brush around and suddenly I look more . . . polished and groomed. It is a MIRACLE I tell you, and I'd like to thank each and every one of you for the recommendation!

I've also got my not really curly but more curly than wavy hair sorted thanks to moroccan oil and a DECENT HAIRCUT. I'm growing my hair out of it's not particularly flattering mum bob and couldn't cope with the no-poo method but it did inspire me to sort myself out. Thank you curly girls everywhere!

I wear earrings every day, try for perfume from time to time, don't wear mum boots and no longer look like I've had no more than two hours sleep . . .

Ladies, I salute you all!
