Ok, so I just bought this Vivienne Westwood Anglomania dress in the MyWardrobe sale. I am v skint and have put on my credit card! Hoping it will be my 'failsafe' dress to make me feel good and hide my mumtum - what does everyone think?

I am very much liking the dress and for me it would be a time and time again wearable dress but then am old so not fussed about only wearing something infrequently

Envy

Looks gorgeous, and cost per wear will make it bargain; probably wrong not to have bought it Grin

Great - I keep hankering over the LK Bennett Davina dress and this is a complete bargin in comparison, so I guess I should stop feeling guilty :)

bargain, not 'bargin'

mmm.. don't want to burst your bubble but that's £££ for a jersey dress

HollyBollyBooBoo · 14/01/2012 21:30

Sorry but it looks really cheap and nasty. Not a classic cut at all.

cornastasiaski · 14/01/2012 21:30

is a bargain for an anglomania

rosie17 · 14/01/2012 21:33

Investment buy, really good price. Enjoy wearing it Smile

I'm having a real issue with my tummy at the minute - my youngest is 20 months and I saw some pics from Christmas where I looked about 6 months pregnant! I'm size 8-10 everywhere else so hoping this dress will mean i don't have to exercise disguise my flabby tum.

A good buy. I have a Donna Anglomania dress very similar to that and have worn it a lot, dressed up and down, and it hasn't bobbled or faded, unlike other Brora jersey dresses I have.

LydiaWickham · 14/01/2012 21:50

It might look better on, but on the photos it looks rather thin and a bit cheap, I would assume it was £30 if I saw someone in it, however, it might be just crap photos. Sorry.

Its also not a 'wear for years' dress as it's not classic enough shape. Again, sorry. However, if you like it and will get 4 or so wears out of it in the next 12 months, go for it.
