Jeans - who else has a jeans wardrobe??

How many pairs of jeans have you all got, and in what sizes??

This morning I was v proud, I tried on a a pair of jeans that last week I couldn't do up, and with the help of a coathanger (!) I managed to do them up. FAR too much muffin to wear them yet - but I am on a diet and these were my first target

So I have about 8 pairs of jeans in sizes from 10 (ha ha wishful thinking!) to size 18 (to big now ) and I am cureently comfortable in size 16's. Looking to get back to the size 12's. I am NOT going to buy any straight leg or skinny jeans unless they are in a size 12 or less

I love jeans. I have about 10 pairs in various styles and colurs. They are all size 12 as I have never gone above that(not including pregnancy). Not as bad as my aunt who has over 30 pairs!

I'm not much of a jeans person, tbh (she says wearing a pair as she types). I have about 6 pairs -

A Miss Selfridge pair (12)
A Monsoon pair (12, wearing today)
A Katherine Hamnett pair (14 - too baggy)
A Tu-Chuzy pair (14 - too baggy)
A Next pair (12 - but the cut gives me a hefty arse so I don't wear them)
A pair of Levi 501s (26waist 32leg - from my pre-preg days, can't get them past my thighs now )

I wear the Monsoon and Miss Selfridge pairs most often as they have the most flattering and comfortable cut.

2 pairs
7's which you get a size bigger than you are so they're a 12
And some front and back pocket skinny ones from George, they're 10

I am wearing Gap skinny fit today (even though I have muffin top, hence long jumper!). Intend to be in my Gap maternity jeans soon.

So does no-one else have so many sizes???

I have:

1 pair of 7's in a size 10 (live in these)
Gap low rise boot cut size 10
2 x Moto low rise size 10
Tommy Hilfiger baggy combaty style jeans to wear with my timberlands size 10
3 various styles that are 3 quarter length all size 10
1 next pair in a size 12 (these are my fat jeans and bought these after having ds as couldn't find in my others for a few weeks.)

Must say Next jeans are the most unflattering cut I have ever come accross. Make your arse look like back end of a bus.

Have loads, cant remember how many, around 6 pairs.

Have some levis which are skinny fit size 10, which used to be too big in my pre-pg days. I tried them on last week and I can get them on! (Just need to work on the fact that I need to be able to do the zip up)

I have some Gharani strok jeans which are a 10 and now fit, but are not loose enough to sit down!

Have the pair Im wearing, which are black faded, and awful, size 12 , I think.

Keep meaning to try the cereal diet, then I will fit into my levis!

I have about 10 pairs, mostly in a 10 or a 12, but only wear a couple in public - Guess and Monsoon - at the moment because of thunder thighs and (horror ) camel hoof That always gets me dieting.

I have just counted 22 pairs in my wardrobe - where did they all come from?

Mine are all size 8 (too small) or size 10 (too big). How annoying is that? Also annoying is even the too big ones manage to slip down to a point where I get a muffin top thing going on. I must be doing something wrong.

Yes, I have two pairs that I like, and one that I have gone off but still wear when the others are in the wash.

Six pairs and you are not much of a jeans person??? Ten pairs? TWENTY TWO PAIRS????

I have ONE crap pair that don't fit properly. I have long legs and no bum or waist, funnily enough not the type manufacturers seem to have in mind when designing clothes.

I'm the opposite. I have short legs and a huge arse. I did have a waist, but that got pulled out of shape during pg and has never returned. Even when I was a good 3 stone lighter than I am now (I'm a size 14, so I'm not huge!) I could never find any to suit me.

i've prob got abt 15 pairs, maybe more. Mine are all either a 16 or an 18. I did have a couple of pairs in a 14, but I'm fairly sure I chucked them. No way I will ever get in them again. I can only fit in the size 18 pairs at the mo, about 6 pairs I think, but only three are really comfortable. I like jeans, but can't wait til spring when I can get my skirts out again.

Walrus, do you think we could convince scientists to sort of splice us, then we would have the perfect body?

I am seriously STUNNED at this thread. Fifteen pairs? Is this normal? I haven't got fifteen pairs of all my trousers put together!!

I've been the same size for years: 14/16 depending on the cut. I have 8 pairs of jeans, nearly all from M&S and 80% from Per Una. they are all boot cut and the long leg fitting. I like darker coloured jeans so most of mine are navy, chocolate brown, black or that really inky denim colour because I think it is more flattering. Have one white pair that I wear when feeling tanned & confident in the summer - so that is about once a year!!!

I have loads of jeans.

1 pair of size 20!! which i wore after having ds1
3 pairs of size 18 - far to big i should just chuck them
4 pairs of sizes 16 - too big though
4 pairs of size 14 dorothy perkins - did fit but they stretch to much and fall down now!
2 pairs of size 14 from matalan - wearing a pair now
1 pair of size 12 which are too tight!
1 pair of size 10 - pre pregnacy grrrr

I have about 4 prs of long jeans in either 8 or 10, depends whether they are stretch or not.
I have 3 prs of short jeans for the summer.
