Postpartum hair - to cut or not?

I have got long wavy hair (generally dried straight) but unfortunately now have tufty bits around the hairline. I don't think it's too noticeable but it's thinner now and I'm worried I look a bit unkempt. Shall I cut to just below shoulder length or would this make the tufty bits more noticeable? Thinking of TTC baby no 2 in next few months so need a long term plan, will I be left with hair that's 3 different lengths?!!

I have similar hair to you. I cut a few inches off mine but not much. Tbh, it didn't help much with the tufty bits, but they were invisible after a few months once they got a bit longer and merged with the rest!

I did need to have a decent trim though. Pregnancy had made the ends all dry and straggly. It's much better now.
