ok...., boot cut jeans/jeans that do not fit into long boots - are these fashionable?
i am early 30's 3 dc and have always tried to stay fashionable and it makes me happy. But i am not so sure about jeans now

Got myself a pair of j brand cigarette leg a while back, not skinny, not boot cut, so what shoes do i wear with these? nothing looks right...

picked up a few faux fur, slightly cropped gilets in sale in river island today, are they 'out'?? or if not what do you team them with?
Ever feel like you have all these 'pieces' and not one bloody good 'turned out' outfit for school run, shopping etc...?

have a wardrobe of 'going out' dresses that i never get to wear and nowt for the day...

Ok, here's my opinion. With jeans, it just depends what you look like in them. If they fit well and are not saggy or tired looking then they are not unfashionable. But I would say cigarette leg or skinny are more 'in' these days. You can wear anything with your J Brand jeans! Ankle boots, ballet flats, knee highs... it sounds like you just don't like your shoes rather than them not going with your jeans, iyswim.

Personally, I hate gilets and fake fur and have no idea if they are 'fashionable' or not.

Can you dress down some of your going out dresses with a belt, opaques and boots/ cardi and ballet flats? That would look nice, unless we're talking ball gown/cocktail dresses.

If you feel like you're losing touch with what's fashionable, just go and see what's in the shops or buy a magazine.

hi there
I second the well fitting jeans opinion (Though i think there was a bootcut hating tread here a while ago .. apologies if i m wrong) I wear my bootcut s with low heels and ashirt or silk top

I love skinnies and straight leg with ballerina flats I m not a fan of brogues but I imagine they would go quite well with your j brand.

I like my wardrobe and shopstyle for ideas of what way to wear stuff.

i terms of the fur - I m v boring but wear it with a plain long sleeved black top and long cardi and black skinnies ... um I think I saw a similar outfit (cos I was delighted with myself to have something that seemed vaguely fashionable !) here
