I am just under 5ft3" tall but M&S regular length trousers and jeans always end up being too short for me.

Are they shrinking in the wash?

I've made the mistake of buying short length in the past - never again - they turned into ankle flappers after one wash.

Now my regulars are looking a bit short too!

I can't possibly need to buy long can I?

You must have incredibly long legs in proportion to the rest of you and have simply come on here to boast about the fact!! Envy

M&S clothes always shrink drastically in the wash. If I buy their t shirts they start out over my bum but 2 months later barely reach my waist.

Their clothes are apalling quality.

DD1 is 5'5" she has one pair of M&S black trousers that are a sensible length and one pair that are too short. Same size (10R), different style bought on the same day. Ok when she bought them, but she's grown slightly and one pair now looks silly. Most annoying.
They are her school trousers and mean Mummy is not shelling out for new ones just yet.

I don't have trouble with M&S stuff shrinking, but Debenham's tops!
I have several that have got shorter and that's sleeves are heading for my elbows.
Really pisses me off, they let the cold in.

Could it be that you have long legs despite being 5'3?

DD has deceptively long legs despite being a titch. Lucky she didn't inherit DH's stubbies Grin
