Suggestions please for where I can get a pair that cost under £50 please :)

Most places that I shop in tbh but then I would never spend £50 on a pair of ballet pumps anyway Grin

You can try supermarkets (Asda, Tesco), Dorothy Perkins, TopShop - even Primark tbh.

MadAboutHotChoc · 09/01/2012 17:38

The problem is that I am a size 5 1/2 so can't do very cheap shoes as these generally do not come in half sizes. I love a bargain though so if you do know of any that sell half sizes, let me know please :)

Ah I see - I am also 5 1/2 but probably on the bigger side of it so size 6's usually fit ok.

The only place I know of that does half sizes is Clarks and they do usually have a good range of ballet pumps but not sure if they have animal print.

civilfawlty · 09/01/2012 17:46

Office have a good pair for about £50. They are less 'loose' than those from top shop et al, so look good for longer. Also bought a pair in Zara about a month ago-an since their shoes come up small, you may find them a better fit.

frankie76 · 09/01/2012 17:47

I got some pretty ballerinas for 50 on amazon in zebra print

scarlet76 · 09/01/2012 17:49

Try Boden clearance

MadAboutHotChoc · 09/01/2012 18:26

Have tried Boden - loved the grey ones but none left in stock.

No animal prints in Clarks at the moment.

M&S usually have some later in Spring/Summer time- half sizes too.

sobenobu · 09/01/2012 19:46

Zara always have animal print ballerinas in. They are strange sizes - I'm a 4 everywhere else but I take a Zara 5 in ballerinas so they are on the small side.

Dune usually has the same pair in each year - last year they were about £50 ish.

Aldo £55.

I've just bought a pair from ASOS for £20 in the sale but that was 2 weeks ago now.
Keep checking Amazon too as I bought a pair of pretty ballerina ones for £44 last year (£169 in John Lewis).

SuperDuperJezebel · 09/01/2012 20:13

Next are pretty good for pumps and always do half sizes.

madammecholet · 09/01/2012 21:11

I bought some lovely ones at Aldo last year - but gone now.. try these:

New Look £40

debenhams £30

ASOS £50

MadAboutHotChoc · 09/01/2012 21:28

Thanks for the links - New Look have not got any in my size and the Debenhams ones are not available in half sizes.

Think I will have to wait another month or so for spring stock to arrive in full...

I bought these was a bit dubious at first but they are fab! Worn better than LK Bennett ones that I bought last year.

I have bought another 2 pairs and put them away Blush

MadAboutHotChoc · 09/01/2012 21:40

Have just spotted these on e-bay

cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330652012230&var=540052291751#ht_4091wt_1272

I love the look of these - the price is probably too good to be true but I will probably order a pair...

Keep an eye on ebay for French Sole - they do loads of lovely animal prints. I can't see any in your size right now but here's an example: French Sole Leopard

You might find French Sole are good for half sizes as they tend to come up small, so a 39 could be just right for you.

monkeysmama · 10/01/2012 12:39

Yes to Zara. I have lots of pairs and my Zara ones are more worn than the dearer ones. I am a 1/2 size too and their sizing issues work in my favour.

MABS · 10/01/2012 15:10

Mine were more at Russell and Bromley, but pretty sure they in sale at th mo.
