Which merrell coat

Ok, after reading all the coat threads and what feels like half the winter looking for coats, I've narrowed it down to: merrell insulated Wakefield or merrell haven.

Any opinions on which one before I order.

I want a warm, long coat that will keep me dry.
Thanks

No merrel suggestion

But I just bought north face Artic parka in brown and it's gorgeous and like wearing a duvet.

I want to wear it in bed

Only got the Haven which is warm and waterproof and another plus for little me its not bulky :)

Little pumpkin - how long is the haven. I'm 5.4 and ideally want one that comes to about three quarters down my thigh.

I tried on both yesterday. The Wakefield is a bit longer - if it has to come 3/4 of the way down your thigh I'd say the Wakefield.

I expected to prefer the Wakefield but actually ended up liking the Haven better. Bought one online last night (for £70 less than it was in the shop I tried it on in!). They both felt warm.

Search around - they are both on sale in various places although some sizes are sold out.

KBABY I am 4ft 10ins and it comes above me Knees :)

Thanks. There's no shops close by which stock it so I may have to order both online and make sure I can get a refund on which ever one I don't like.
I'm having my colours done tomorrow as a Christmas present and can't order one until then as I can guarantee I'll order the wrong colour.

I ordered the Haven and sent it back - didn't like the material.
Kept the Wakefield (non-insulated).
Both are a good length. just above the knee, and I like the sleeves (I'm 5' 2" and find them fine, not long, as they have adjustable cuffs)

I have both the non-insulated Wakefield and the Haven (was part of the first wave of mad coat shopping) and love them both. I reckon the insulated Wakefield is what you want, as it is that bit longer. If it's anything like as warm and waterproof as the Haven (which I think it will be) you're laughing - I was lying on the ground in wet thigh-deep snow yesterday in Glenshee - toasty warm and bone dry the whole time.

I'd recommend Shop On The Beach - bought mine from there - no probs with buying two sizes and sending one back, and excellent customer service. Think they are a tiny company, but absolutely brilliant.
