How to have lovely smelling hair???

My hair is terrible for holding smells - if I cook it smells of whatever I've made, if I've been on a train it holds that "public transporty" smell. How do you get hair that always smells fresh and lovely?

I wash it everyday with Herbal Essences 2in1, or with Toni and Guy if I've got plenty of time and I either dry it and straighten it /dry it and BBH it/ scrag it in a ponytail (if no time at all!).... but by the evening I think hmm this doesn't smell as fresh as it did :(

Enlighten me please?

Is batiste not the febreeze of hair products?Wink

Hair will only smell really fresh for a few hours after you've washed it, surely? If you're washing it every day it won't smell bad.

Fresh hair is lovely tho. I'm sure mine usually smells of fags and despair.
Maybe using a shampoo containing essential oils like tea tree

You can get a 'refresh' spray in boots- gianni something? Hate the smell of batiste
