Duo boots help please?

I ordered these in the plain black leather but when I tried them on this morning they are tight across my foot and a bit baggy around my ankle. On the plus side the calf is a good fit so I know my calf measurement was right. I'm really disapointed but I know that the creasing at the ankles will just annoy me so I'm going to send them back.
I'm looking for flat black riding boots so wondered if these or these might fit better across my foot and round my ankle? Does anyone have any of these boots? Are they going to be any better or do I just have to accept that I have abnormal legs?!

(This is the first time I've tried adding links so I'm hoping they work!)

Try speaking to their customer service, they may be able to offer you some advice.

I tried to phone them today but they aren't open at the weekend. I'll have to try a phone them from work on Monday, easier said than done unfortunately!

Avignon is the same as Ravenna apart from the buckles. I have had Ravenna and it is not a loose fit round ankles.

It's a good diea to phone them and now I always go to one of their stores- I've found that just measuring the calf is no good because the foot size varies alot as does the anle fit and even the height of the boot.

I have 3 pairs of DUO and have sold 3 pairs on ebay! My usual size is 38 but I have boots in 37, 38 and 39!

If you can afford a trip to a store at the start of the season it is a good plan.

I am a 39 35 in duo and I find all their styles are loose on my ankle

I will be returning my new boots too these ones even though I love them as they don't fit my feet, despite having these and these both of which are a perfect fit.

I went up a shoe size in my new ones too as the reviews said the sizing was small. Sad

Thanks for all the help, I've ordered the Avignon and have my fingers crossed that they fit!
Customer service at Duo do have the ankle measurements of the boots and were very helpful when I called.

Duo seem to be having trouble with the ankle measurement at the moment as I have had to send a couple of pairs back because of this. On one pair the ankle was actually wider than the top of the boot!
