OK, is this a new product you need to share or what you are wearing right now and they're pinching.

You need to elaborate. Confused

Sadly, the latter. They did fit, but they made getting out of the car very difficult Grin

LOL. Get used to them tho, they take you down a dress size!

Sparklegeek · 08/01/2012 10:51

Ooh, which ones did you have?

madammecholet · 08/01/2012 12:04

Mine are brand new post Christmas - desperation purchase in M&S after I discovered my only black tie dress no longer fits properly. They're the ones that tuck under your bra. Annoyingly, this morning I have woken up seemingly having lost 3 pounds by magic overnight. Maybe the steel pants have a lasting effect?

I started a thread a couple of days ago wondering if Spanx are worth the extra. Have ended up buying a Flexees slip thing in the Asos sale after recommendations on here, and will go in to Primark to compare with theirs if they do an up-to-bra, cycling shorts one. Am dubious as to the slip's hem remaining in place while dancing? Do NOT want it all bunched up round my waist, that will not be wowing everyone at my 40th Blush

Ha ha ... I knew they'd be M&S ones when I read the title Grin

We call them 'military knickers' on out family because you feel like you could face anything in them.

I think they're great. TBH I feel really slouchy in anything else now!

"Annoyingly, this morning I have woken up seemingly having lost 3 pounds by magic overnight. Maybe the steel pants have a lasting effect?" could this be because they restrict the appetite amount of food which can physically be consumed ?!
