Votes please on colour of boots!

Have been thinking of getting some Fitflop boots in their Hooper short style (I already have a couple of pairs of FFs from previous years and they are super comfortable for every day).

Now they are much reduced in sales, would like to get a pair. But what colour?? Will be wearing mainly with jeans in dark indigo or black and coat is grey, parka olive.

Have seen in RL and colour is quite nice and rich, not orange-y.
Or should I go for safe black, which aren't reduced by as much?

On the basis of colour, I woul go for the black.

I like the third pair best and the black ones second best. The brown ones look a bit cheap (though I know they aren't!)

The black look so orthopaedic and dull and mom boot, and I would only buy black if you have a black coat.
Have been wearing brown boots for the last few years with all colour jeans/trousers and they suit all....IMO.

However brown is difficult to get right and can look bad but only if the leather really is cheap, think choc now.

Order both?

I always think that maybe a £4 delivery/return fee is worthwhile if unsure.

Black are definitely the best imo. Don't like brown boots with black jeans - it just looks wrong!

have you checked out shoetique? I think they are cheaper than fitflop

..just checked and they are sixty seven pounds - much cheaper!

Def the toffee - the black look like 'mum' boots and the 3rd pair are too butch imo..

Thanks so much. Was only using Fitflop site to get links - was intending to use Ward Walkers who are cheaper but Shoetique a brilliant idea. Thank you. They may also have the Hooper in choc instead of/ as well as 'toffee' in my size. Will check in morning.

Some different views here. On balance, think I'm probably (just) on side of thinking black ones a bit too safe, ie 'mum' like. And that 3rd may well be too butch, specially as I'm tall and large! Also may only work with skinny jeans and want to wear them with straight too.
