Anyone know of any Non-tacky Jewellery Boxes ?

I've cramming my assorted ( mainly vulgar tat ) jewellery into a very small M&S jewellery box for several years, and I've decided that I actually need a proper box so things can be organised and I don't need to dig through 15 single diamanté chandelier earrings before I find a ball of an indeterminate number of tangled necklaces.
It doesn't have to leather or wood, I like brocade and lacquer. I don't like Cath Kidston, or kitsch or Elizabeth Duke stylee mahogany wardrobes - ideally I'd be getting yer old bespoke David Linley or vintage Chinese affair but sadly I have failed to secure my millionaire lifestyle. I'm hoping to spend less than a hundred quid but will stretch my budget for something gorgeous that will last me for the next 40 years.

Please and thank you - you lot know everything - inspire me.

Jewellery stackers work well. The rest of the bits are on sale as well.

I use a wooden multi drawer box. It's about 12" square, upright and 4" deep divided into 9 drawers, . A bit like this, but not an antique.

It came from a hippyish shop and I've had it for ages. I keep my jewellery organised by type, so I can find what I want easily. Long necklaces are on hooks on the inside of my wardrobe door as they always tangle.

Hope you find something

For 'junk' jewellry primark do like a plastic hanging bag with pouches so you can put individual bits in each pouch and you can hang it inside the wardrobe.

For 'nice' jeweelry theres some lovely mirrored boxes available now.

I have quite a tall mirrored one which is lovely aside from the finger prints but I think it came from (whispers) Argos..

I have a chinese lacquer style cabinet/box - it has four drawers in it - it came from Past Times a few years ago, I can't get on the website to see if they still do it but might be worth a look or an ebay search? My long necklaces I have hanging on hooks on the wall, I wear them so much more now!

Thank you all so much, what lovely helpful people you are. I was hopeful of finding something on Not On The High St but it seems to be predominantly knitted cupcake affairs - what's all that about ? I'm going to investigate all your links in a bit when I get my laptop out.

I have one like this from M&S, I still wear the same old 2 things but it stores the lot!

M&S

That's nice, LittlePandaBear, I did really want the large M&S Marcel Wanders one when I saw it in-store but decided that it was a bit indulgent to buy it for myself before Christmas - I know, fatal mistake, of course it's out of stock now. www.marksandspencer.com/Marcel-Wanders-Large-Jewellery-Box/dp/B005UWFHQK ( in retrospect, it's probably a bit too small for my collection of cack )
