I've had some vouchers for lovely beauty place locally & went to book manicure ready for my rtw post mat leave

  • however - saw shellac only a bit more & lasts 3 weeks- so have booked that instead, but now I'm over thinking pondering as I'm rubbish about beauty stuff and have a few questions- can anyone help
Taking them off- what do you usually pay Does it ruin your nails when they are off How often do you have to have them done before they look tatty
  • and is it a repair job or newly done each time, therefore do you pay to have them done AND removal costs each time
Does it matter if I have a broken nail before !!! I'm sorry I know I'm rubbish Help gratefully received Thanks

Removal is best done by a professional - I would charge £15 when one as a standalone service.
No nail enhancement product ruins nails if it is applied and removed correctly. Shellac does NOT require the nail surface to be buffed before application so there is no degradation of the nail.
Shellac is soaked off and replaced at each appt, I include removal in the price because it soaks off really easily.
Shellac is not strong enough to extend with but can be used over an enhancement product to even up length.

I love shellac. Have only had it done twice on my toes - first time had it on for 5 weeks! Had to get my nails trimmed rather than any issue with the polish - it was still perfect! Took about 10 mins to take off - soak in acetone rather than pads. Had a small white mark on one nail. The polish just pushes off with a cuticle stick - no filing. Hope that helps!
