Eye make up for contact lens wearer

I need mascara and eye shadow. Eyes very sensitive. Any advise would be great fully received.

Clinique? They seem to be the go to for sensitive eye people.

I like the Clinique, especially their Long Pretty Lashes mascara, since I don't like a very heavily mascara'd look.

Another vote for Clinique mascara - the one that only comes off with warm water, with the curling wand. Not sure of the name but isthe only thing that doesn't make me cry!

I use Chanel mascara

It seems like sods law that I can only wear expensive mascara with contact lens!

Rimmel's Extra Super Lash is suitable for contact lens wearers, as is Max Factor Masterpiece (the one in the rather lovely black and gold tube) and - much to my surprise - Maybelline's Falsies (dark pink tube). I really rate the last two. There's a No 7 one too, but it's not so good.

I don't wear eye shadow, but can attest to the wonders of No 7 pencil liners, even the glitter ones, as they don't irritate or fall, are lovely to put on and stay put. Much better than Rimmel. The Clinique, Rimmel and Bourjois liquid liners are all good too.

Everything I've mentioned comes off with face wash, rather than make up remover.

Don't get waterproof or mascara with fibres.
I've used clinique before and it was very good, currently using a much cheaper L'oreal one which is fine. Tried ruby & millie and it was awful, really flaky.

Barbara Daly Make Up Smudge Proof Mascara for Tesco works for me. I agree about the No 7 pencil liners.
