FFS mine was £45. At £20 I would've liked mine a bit more I think!

Nagoo · 06/01/2012 14:31

I haven't tried it yet, I was so excited to share the news.

You don't like it? I have shortish hair, so I'm not sure if it will work for me, or if it will be one of those things I put in a cupboard.

GAH!!

swanfall · 06/01/2012 14:33

And that was an 'I spent £40 on it the other week' GAH not an excited GAH.

swanfall · 06/01/2012 14:35

It works brilliantly for me, but I have long hair. I'm not sure it would be that great for someone with hair above their shoulders, as it's the wrapping it round the barrel action that gives your hair all the bounce. Am happy for a short-haired person to tell me I'm wrong though!

valiumredhead · 06/01/2012 14:37

My disappointment is well documented on the other recent thread - I won't keep going on about it

Nagoo · 06/01/2012 14:39

Blush I wanted to spread joy, not Angry

Nooooo OP sorry, spread away, £20 is a BARGAIN!! x

valiumredhead · 06/01/2012 14:41

I'm only bitter because it doesn't work on my hair!

DukesOfTripHazard · 06/01/2012 14:53

I am shoulder length and it does great stuff with my hair.

Katisha · 06/01/2012 14:57

Noooooooooooo have just got it from amazon at £35 nooooooooooooooooooooooooo

moonmother · 06/01/2012 16:14

Went rushing to local Wilkos and they're sold out Sad

Dillydollydaydream · 06/01/2012 16:23

Can you get them from wilko online. £20 is really good!

Trills · 06/01/2012 16:26

Can't find it on wilkos online

Cheapest I can see online is £35.

Karbea · 06/01/2012 16:42

This is the cheapest I can find it [http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/babyliss-2775u-big-hair-styler-black-06474295-pdt.html?srcid=867&cmpid=comp~Google~Home%20Appliances~06474295&istCompanyId=bec25c7e-cbcd-460d-81d5-a25372d2e3d7&istItemId=mlawxlr&istBid=t] (currys £29.99)

Trills · 06/01/2012 16:46

Currys didn't turn up in my comparison check - thanks.

You can get a very small amount of cashback at Currys via TopCashBack (that's my referral link, if you want to join - and I recommend you do - but hate me and don't want me to benefit then go to this link instead). Cashback at Currys works for reserve and collect as well as orders to be delivered.

Karbea · 06/01/2012 16:51

Oh I'm really tempted to buy it, I nearly asked my mum to get it for me for Xmas, but didn't Sad I don't think I can afford to this month... hence why i'm looking for a volume mousse (cheaper alternative)...

dyzzidi · 08/01/2012 19:31

I picked one up and used it for the first time tonight! Oh my god it is brilliant!

StellaAndFries · 09/01/2012 16:15

Thanks OP I found the last one in my local wilkinsons! I had asked dp for one for my 30th in February so he was pleased that it was a bargain, can't wait to get back form Zumba tonight so I can shower, wash my hair and give it a go.

NotNeeemo · 12/01/2012 18:23

I got one today very happy GrinGrin

ClothesOfSand · 12/01/2012 18:31

Well I had very long hair and was assured that it didn't work because my hair was too long. I have now cut my hair to shoulder length and it still does absolutely nothing whatsoever to my hair. It looks exactly the same whether I use it or let my hair dry naturally.

Nagoo · 12/01/2012 20:18

I find it makes mine lovely and swishy cause of the ionising. It's not static at all, and nice and straight without any kinky bits. It's not so much the 'bigness' I like.

clothes do you have this hair naturally Envy
